S-Methylisothiourea Sulfate (CAS: 867-44-7) is a potent, selective and competitive inhibitor of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS). S-Methylisothiourea sulfate exerts beneficial effects in rodent models of septic shock. More efficient than NMMA. S-Methylisothiourea Sulfate is an intermediate of 4-Hydroxydebrisoquine. S-Methylisothiourea Sulfate is also a reagent used in the synthesis of strobilurin-pyrimidine derivatives for their anti-proliferative activity. Used as pharmaceutical / pesticide intermediates. S-Methylisothiourea Sulfate is an intermediate for the preparation of guanidine intermediates. It also can be used for the preparation of fungicides Dimethirimol, Ethirimol; Insecticide Midinyanglin, Pirimicarb etc. Intermediate of Guanethidine Hemisulfate, Prednisolone Phosphate Sodium.
